What is Dreamy Dough?

Ministry of Dreamers makes adult sensory tools to designed to encourage focus, creativity, and quiet moments. Our flagship Dreamy Dough™ is a small-batch, scent infused luxury dough formulated for especially for adults. Its properties may inspire calm, relaxation and enhanced creativity while providing a soothing, tactile experience.

How do I use Dreamy Dough?

Warm it in your palms. Breathe the scent. Shape, press, fold, release. Dreamy Dough is made for the hands that need something to hold — at the desk, in meetings, in the wind-down of the day. A tactile companion for focus, for calm, for the practice of being present in your own skin.

Is Dreamy Dough™ a medical device?

No, Dreamy Dough™ is not a medical device. While it was developed by a physician, it is not designed to diagnose, treat, or manage medical conditions.

Who can use Dreamy Dough?

 Dreamy Dough is formulated with elegant scents and colors that are custom blended in house specifically for adults. 

Can children use Dreamy Dough?

Dreamy Dough is formulated as an adult sensory product. Younger children may be at risk of accidentally ingesting the dough or small sensory objects. If you’re looking for a sensory product for children, we recommend traditional children’s play dough.

How should I store it?

Store in the closed tin at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep out of reach of children and pets. 

To extend the longevity of the fragrance, we suggest storing Dreamy Dough in a cool, dry place such as the refrigerator. While the scent may diminish with time, the dough remains fully usable even if the fragrance becomes less pronounced.

For optimal enjoyment, we recommend using Dreamy Dough within one month of purchase. Over time, the scent may naturally fade due to oxidation, a process that is influenced by environmental factors and how frequently the dough is handled.

What Are the Ingredients in Dreamy Dough?

Dreamy Dough is crafted using high-quality, non-toxic ingredients. Dreamy Dough is vegan. The primary components include:

  • Wheat flour
  • Water
  • Salt
  • ECOCERT and COSMOS compliant, NPA-accepted natural preservative.

Secondary ingredients may include ethically sourcedessential oils and/or premium food-grade essences and extracts.

For products containing glitter, we use eco-friendly, biodegradable glitter to ensure sustainability.

To prioritize safety and longevity, we incorporate an ECOCERT and COSMOS compliant, NPA-accepted natural preservative.

If you have sensitive skin or allergies, test a small amount first. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

What if I have Food Allergies?

Ministry of Dreamers does not use nut products in our dough, however we are not a certified nut-free facility. Dreamy Dough is made in small batches on shared equipment. Cross-contamination with priority food allergens, including nuts, is possible. Please consult with your physician before using Dreamy Dough if you have a known or suspected food allergy.

Can I Eat Dreamy Dough?

No, Dreamy Dough is not intended for consumption. While it has a delightful scent, it is a non-food product and should not be eaten.

What Should I Do if My Dreamy Dough™ Becomes Dry?

Dreamy Dough may be customized at any time to the texture of your choice. Simply add a few drops of water at a time to Dreamy Dough and knead it to create a softer, more malleable experience.

Dreamy Dough is a water-based product, and over time, evaporation will occur naturally. Ensure the tin is sealed tightly between uses. 

If salt crystals appear, take a moment to appreciate the natural beauty of their cubic crystalline structure!  They will disappear with gentle kneading, with or without the addition of water.

Fun Fact: Our original preservative-free dough experiments, created more than seven years ago, are still pliable today!

  • Packaging: We package the standard size Dreamy Dough™ in recyclable aluminum tins, designed for reuse in everyday life for various purposes. 

  • Shipping: We prioritize the use of recyclable packing materials in our shipments, reducing waste wherever possible.

  • Ingredients: All ingredients in our food-scented doughs are biodegradable and can be composted in many areas. Please check your local Green Bin guidelines for composting options.

We believe in creating products that bring joy while also caring for the environment.

    Can I Return My Purchase?

    If you encounter any quality issues with your order, please reach out to us directly. We are committed to resolving any concerns and ensuring your satisfaction. However, please note that we are unable to accept product returns.

      Where Do You Ship Your Products?

      Currently, we offer shipping across Canada, with the exception of Saskatchewan and Quebec. We hope to expand our range as our business grows.
